Volleyball Recap: Cibola Comes Up Short

Cibola was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 11th straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Somerton Toros.

The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 15-25, 25-17, 25-19.

Cibola's loss dropped their record down to 0-9. As for Somerton, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-7 record this season.

Cibola will be playing in front of their home fans against Maryvale at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Somerton, they are taking a road trip to take on Highland Prep at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
