Baseball Game Preview: Reedley Pirates vs. West Park Panthers

The Reedley Pirates will take on the West Park Panthers at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Reedley is coming into the contest on a three-game losing streak.

Reedley's tournament run continued when they took on Hoover on Tuesday. The Pirates fell 4-1 to the Patriots.

Reedley saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Richie Badilla, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.

Meanwhile, West Park posted their closest win since March 21st on Tuesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with an 8-7 victory over Redwood. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Panthers.

West Park got a massive performance out of Christopher Fisher, who scored two runs and stole three bases while going 3-for-4. Fisher is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last 14 games he's played. Another player making a difference was Ayden Deome, who scored two runs while going 2-for-4.

Reedley's defeat dropped their record down to 9-8. As for West Park, their win bumped their record up to 17-5.
