Soccer Recap: Benjamin Comes Up Short

Benjamin was the 3-0 winner over Somerset Academy - Canyons when they last played one another back in January of 2021, but their luck changed this time around. The Buccaneers came up short against the Cougars on Wednesday, falling 8-0. While losing is never fun, Benjamin can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida soccer rankings (they are ranked 155th, while Somerset Academy - Canyons are ranked 19th).

Benjamin dropped their record down to 4-8-2 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road. As for Somerset Academy - Canyons, the win (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 11-1-1.

As of now, neither Benjamin nor the Cougars have any future games scheduled.
