Volleyball Recap: Rockford East Comes Up Short

Rockford East lost against Jones back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The E-Rabs fell 2-0 to the Eagles.

Rockford East has also been struggling recently as they've lost 11 of their last 14 matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-14 record this season. As for Jones, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 15-12.

Coming up, Rockford East will head out on the road to challenge Belvidere at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. The E-Rabs are facing the Bucs at the right time seeing as the Bucs are stuck on a six-game losing streak. As for Jones, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-1 loss against Whitney Young on the 16th.
