Baseball Recap: Niceville Eagles vs. Mosley Dolphins
Niceville proved they can win big last Friday (they won by nine) and on Tuesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They skirted past the Mosley Dolphins 8-7. The Eagles haven't had any issues with the Dolphins recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.
Niceville got a great performance from Brady Martin as he pitched five innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off three hits. Martin has been consistent recently: he hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in four consecutive appearances.
At the plate, Nicholas Gates was incredible, going 1-for-3 with one home run and four RBI. Another player making a difference was Hunter Tarchalski, who scored a run while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.
