Basketball Recap: Warwick Beats Nelson County Co-Op [Lakota/Dakota Prairie] for Their Third Straight Victory

Warwick waltzed into their matchup on Thursday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They walked away with a 67-60 victory over Nelson County co-op [Lakota/Dakota Prairie].

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Warwick to victory, but perhaps none more so than Elijah Feather Jr, who dropped a double-double with 27 points and 11 boards. Feather Jr is becoming a predictor of Warwick's success: when he posts at least ten rebounds the team is 3-1 (and 4-5 when he doesn't). The team also got some help courtesy of Dalton Joramo, who almost dropped a double-double with 18 points and nine boards.

Warwick now has a winning record of 7-6. As for Nelson County co-op [Lakota/Dakota Prairie], they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven games, which has put a noticeable dent in their 5-9 record this season.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Hatton/Northwood the next time they take the court. Warwick will head out to face Hatton/Northwood at 7:30 p.m. on Monday, while Nelson County co-op [Lakota/Dakota Prairie] will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
