Soccer Recap: Reading Comes Up Short

Reading lost against Cedar Cliff back in September of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Red KNights came up short against the Colts, falling 8-0. While losing is never fun, Reading can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania soccer rankings (they are ranked 399th, while Cedar Cliff are ranked 169th).

Reading's defeat dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Cedar Cliff, their win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-7-1.

Coming up, Reading will head out to take on Twin Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Cedar Cliff, they will welcome Carlisle at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
