Firestone put another one in the bag on Thursday to keep their perfect season alive. They put the hurt on the Archbishop Hoban Knights with a sharp 3-0 victory. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 two weeks ago.

The final score came out to 25-21, 25-16, 25-18.

Sir?Vontaye Wooldridge-Johnson paced Firestone's offense, picking up 13 kills. Wooldridge-Johnson got some help from Tala Paing and his 17 assists. Paing was also solid from the service line: he led the team with three aces.

Firestone pushed their record up to 8-0 with the win, which was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season. As for Archbishop Hoban, they are on an eight-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-7.

Firestone has already played their next match, a 3-2 victory against St. Vincent-St. Mary on the 5th. As for Archbishop Hoban, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 3-1 defeat against Howland on the 7th.
