Softball Recap: Crandon Comes Up Short

Crandon was the 11-9 winner over Three Lakes when they last played one another two weeks ago, but their luck changed this time around. The Cardinals fell 6-2 to the Bluejays on Tuesday.

Crandon saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Macie Mayer, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one run. Mayer is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games she's played.

Crandon now has a losing record of 7-8. As for Three Lakes, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Crandon wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 6-2 loss against Three Lakes/Phelps on the 19th. Three Lakes does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
