Volleyball Recap: Sedro-Woolley Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Sedro-Woolley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the Burlington-Edison Tigers. If the Cubs were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to the Tigers when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

While Sedro-Woolley ultimately came up short, they really made Burlington-Edison work, particularly in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 26-24, 25-12, 25-13.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Burlington-Edison to victory, but perhaps none more so than Myah Montiel, who had 11 digs. That's the most digs Montiel has posted over her last 11 matches.

Sedro-Woolley's loss dropped their record down to 3-8. As for Burlington-Edison, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-10 record this season.
