Volleyball Recap: Kenesaw Victorious

Kenesaw won the last time they faced Giltner and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Blue Devils walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Hornets. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Blue Devils.

Kenesaw not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Giltner to exactly 20 points across their sets. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-20.

Brooklynn Peshek was the offensive standout of the match as she had seven digs and three aces.

Peshek wasn't the only good servers: Kenesaw was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 12 aces. That's the most aces they've managed all season.

Kenesaw's win bumped their record up to 20-6. As for Giltner, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 11-13.

Coming up, Kenesaw will be taking part in a tournament against Franklin at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Giltner, they will be playing at home against Lawrence-Nelson on Tuesday.
