Baseball Recap: Osage Takes a Loss

The Osage Green Devils came up short against the Iowa Falls-Alden Cadets on Thursday and fell 6-1.

Osage has also been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-7 record this season. That patch can't be blamed on the team's pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.8 runs on average over those games. As for Iowa Falls-Alden, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 8-8.

Osage wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 7-6 loss against St. Ansgar on the 20th. As for Iowa Falls-Alden, they will look to defend their home field on Monday against Clarion-Goldfield/DOWS at 5:30 p.m.
