Bartram Trail found their leader in underclassman Alyssa Donohue, who scored 18 points along with five steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Sophia Panico, who scored 11 points.
Meanwhile, Episcopal School of Jacksonville came up short against Beachside on Thursday and fell 49-39. While losing is never fun, Episcopal School of Jacksonville can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings (they are ranked 233rd, while Beachside is ranked 50th).
Bartram Trail's win bumped their record up to 4-13. As for Episcopal School of Jacksonville, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost seven of their last eight matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-13 record this season.
Bartram Trail was able to grind out a solid win over Episcopal School of Jacksonville in their previous matchup back in November of 2022, winning 56-45.
