Given the Nighthawks' advantage in MaxPreps' basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 95th in Kansas, while the Knights are ranked 287th in Missouri), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Southern Missouri RUSH won against Kansas City East Christian Academy on Thursday with 60 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Thursday. Southern Missouri RUSH walked away with a 60-47 victory over Wichita HomeSchool. The win made it back-to-back victories for Southern Missouri RUSH.

Southern Missouri RUSH's win bumped their record up to 25-12. As for Northeast Kansas Nighthawks HomeSchool, their victory bumped their record up to 9-3.
