Football Preview: Yorktown Patriots vs. Wakefield Warriors
Yorktown has gone 9-0 against Wakefield recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Yorktown Patriots will look to defend their home field against the Wakefield Warriors at 7:00 p.m. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Last Friday, Yorktown strolled past Jackson-Reed with points to spare, taking the game 28-13. The victory was all the more spectacular given the Patriots' disadvantage in MaxPreps' football rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 118th in Virginia, while the Tigers are ranked 16th in District of Columbia).
