Soccer Game Preview: Myrtle Beach vs. Carolina Forest

The Myrtle Beach Seahawks are taking a road trip to square off against the Carolina Forest Panthers at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.

Myrtle Beach is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to seven goals on Friday, they were much more limited against Socastee on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Braves by a score of 2-1.

Myrtle Beach's goal came courtesy of Tia Boatwright, who's now up to six this season.

Meanwhile, after failing to score in their last game, Carolina Forest made sure to put some goals up on the board against Conway on Wednesday. They were the clear victors by a 9-0 margin over the Tigers. Winning may never get old, but Carolina Forest sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Carolina Forest's victory bumped their record up to 6-8. As for Myrtle Beach, their loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 2-5-1.
