League recap: Lake Placid stuns LaBelle in upset

The biggest upset of the week belonged to Lake Placid, who took down 406th ranked LaBelle, 16-14. Robert Walton threw for 153 yards and two touchdowns and ran for 25 yards in the win.

Walton and Ricky Miller provided fans with a highlight when they connected against the Cowboys. The longest such play in 4A District 6 this season, the connection resulted in 99 yards.

Daniel Cobb was the most productive running back in the league this week. He ran for 87 yards on five carries as Dunbar topped LaBelle. Teammate Marquise Bryant added to the ground attack by rushing for 60 yards.

Miller was the best wideout in the league this week as Lake Placid beat the Cowboys. Miller racked up four receptions for 156 yards.

A big matchup in 4A District 6 this week will be when Booker takes on the Tigers. The Tornadoes are currently in fifth, while Dunbar is in first.

Phil Vogt's team extended the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating Avon Park, 44-0. This was the team's fifth consecutive win.
