Noble and Biddeford are an even 4-4 against one another since June of 2015, but likely not for long. The Knights will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against the Tigers at 4:30 p.m. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (Noble 3.4, Biddeford 2.5) so any runs scored will be well earned.

Noble's usually-dominant pitching crew will be looking to make up for Thursday's struggle, when Scarborough hitters got past them. The Knights came up short against the Red Storm on Thursday, falling 10-0. The Knights have struggled against the Red Storm recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost meeting.

Noble saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Aidan Roberts, who went 2-for-3 with one double. That double was Roberts' first of the season.

Meanwhile, Biddeford faced Thornton Academy in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Monday. The Tigers lost 14-2 to the Trojans. The pitching woes were uncharacteristic for the Tigers, who until this matchup were averaging 2.53 runs allowed.

Biddeford's defeat dropped their record down to 11-4. As for Noble, their loss dropped their record down to 6-8.

Everything went Noble's way against Biddeford in their previous meeting back in May of 2024, as Noble made off with a 12-1 win. Do the Knights have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Tigers turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
