Basketball Game Preview: Odessa Bronchos vs. San Angelo Central Bobcats

The Odessa Bronchos will head out to face off against the San Angelo Central Bobcats at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Given that both suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.

On Friday, Odessa came up short against Permian and fell 58-50. The Bronchos have struggled against the Panthers recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

San Angelo Central has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They were six points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 75-69 heartbreaker at the hands of Frenship.

Odessa now has a losing record at 12-13. As for San Angelo Central, their defeat dropped their record down to 19-6.

Odessa suffered a grim 69-49 defeat to San Angelo Central in their previous meeting back in February of 2024. Can Odessa avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
