Volleyball Game Preview: Seckman Jaguars vs. Jackson Fighting Indians

The Seckman Jaguars will square off against the Jackson Fighting Indians at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Seckman is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Thursday. They skirted past Oakville 3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Jaguars have posted since October 1st.

Seckman was staring down a 2-1 deficit headed into the fourth set, but they rallied to take the next two for the win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 21-25, 25-21, 21-25, 25-19, 15-12.

Meanwhile, Jackson got the win against Fox on Thursday by a conclusive 3-0. The victory continues a trend for the Fighting Indians in their matchups with the Warriors: they've now won five in a row.

Jackson's win bumped their record up to 36-2. As for Seckman, their victory bumped their record up to 22-8-2.

Seckman might still be hurting after the 3-0 defeat they got from Jackson in their previous matchup back in October of 2022. Can the Jaguars avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
