Soccer Game Preview: Chesterton Academy of the Holy Family vs. Kaneland

Chesterton Academy of the Holy Family are taking a road trip to face off against the Kaneland Knights at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

Chesterton Academy of the Holy Family is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to five goals on Monday, they were much more limited against Wilmington on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Wildcats by a score of 2-1.

Meanwhile, Kaneland kept a clean sheet against Princeton on Saturday. They put the hurt on the Tigers with a sharp 5-0 win. The final result isn't all the surprising considering Kaneland's considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Illinois soccer rankings (they are ranked 82nd, while Princeton are ranked 240th).

Kaneland hit Princeton with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Taylor Mills (2), Erin Doucette, Alondra Mendoza, and Kyra Lilly.

Chesterton Academy of the Holy Family's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Kaneland, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-2-1 record this season.
