6A District 4 recap Nov. 7, 2012
Edmond Santa Fe extended the longest winning streak in 6A District 4 this week by beating Choctaw, 55-0. The victory was the seventh in a row for the team.
Southmoore was able to crack the Top 25 in the state rankings this week after topping Mustang. The SaberCats came in at 23 in the state poll after placing at number 32 last week.
Southmoore's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Tre Edwards threw for 287 and three touchdowns and Jalen Adams had 90 yards receiving. On the ground Karltrell Henderson chipped in 196 yards. Jaelon Walker helped Southmoore's passing attack out by catching three balls for 73 yards.
Southmoore's offense has been unstoppable this season and the SaberCats feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Edwards has thrown for 2040 yards and 20 touchdowns this season, while Adams has 34 catches for 728 yards. Henderson leads the league in rushing with 1173 yards.
Edmond Santa Fe took down the Yellowjackets 55-0 last week, the largest margin of any game.
