Softball Recap: Monrovia Bulldogs vs. Eminence Eels        
        
		
            
 After having lost a blowout in their  previous game against Triton Central, Monrovia was happy to have turned things around  on Thursday. They came out on top against the Eminence Eels by a score of  6-2. This was payback for Monrovia, who suffered  a  7-3  loss the last time these two teams met.
 Monrovia's victory was truly a team effort as seven different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was  Jocelyn Donitzen, who  scored a  run while going 3-for-4.
 On Eminence's side,  Khloee Kirk was cooking despite her team's loss,   scoring a  run and  stealing a base while  getting on base  in three of her four plate appearances.
 Monrovia's win  ended  a  five-game drought at home  and  bumped them up to 4-7. As for Eminence,  this is  the second loss in a row for them and  nudges their season record down to 9-2.
 Both  teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Monrovia will take on Cloverdale at 5:30  p.m.  on Friday. Monrovia is facing Cloverdale at the right time seeing as Cloverdale is stuck on  a  nine-game losing streak. As for Eminence, they will be playing at home against Owen Valley at 11:00  a.m.  on Saturday.
