Basketball Game Preview: Tussey Mountain Titans vs. Southern Huntingdon County Rockets

Tussey Mountain and Southern Huntingdon County are an even 5-5 against one another since January of 2020, but not for long. The Tussey Mountain Titans will be playing at home against the Southern Huntingdon County Rockets at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The timing is sure in Tussey Mountain's favor as the squad sits on seven straight wins at home (dating back to last season) while Southern Huntingdon County has been banged up by four consecutive losses on the road also dating back to last season.

On Saturday, Tussey Mountain escaped with a win against Southern Fulton by the margin of a single free throw, 33-32.

Meanwhile, Southern Huntingdon County earned a 62-51 victory over Williamsburg on Friday.

Southern Huntingdon County is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a massive bump to their 5-5 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.5 points per game. As for Tussey Mountain, their win bumped their record up to 3-5.

Tussey Mountain didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against Southern Huntingdon County in their previous meeting back in February of 2024, but they still walked away with a 47-41 victory.
