Volleyball Recap: Mountain Valley Triumphs

The Mountain Valley Wolves beat the Cripple Creek-Victor Pioneers 3-1 on Saturday.

Kandra Pollard paced Mountain Valley's offense, picking up six kills. Pollard got some help from Ivy Jean VanEgmond and her 12 assists. Pollard was also solid from the service line: she led the team with six aces.

Mountain Valley's victory bumped their record up to 2-6. As for Cripple Creek-Victor, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-5.

Mountain Valley didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 loss against Centennial on the 13th. As for Cripple Creek-Victor, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Atlas Preparatory School on the 15th.
