Olympic Heights has enjoyed a three-game homestand but will soon have to dust off their road jerseys. They will square off against the Boca Raton Bobcats at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Olympic Heights has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 324 points over their last five matches.
Last Friday, Olympic Heights blew past Sports Leadership & Management, posting a 78-46 win at home. That 32 point margin sets a new team best for Olympic Heights this season.
Sebastian Kamalzadeh had an outrageously good game as he scored 23 points along with seven steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Jake Harbatkin, who scored 15 points.
Meanwhile, two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Boca Raton walked away with it. They took down the Knights 54-38 on Tuesday. Winning may never get old, but Boca Raton sure is getting used to it with their third in a row.
Olympic Heights' victory ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 13-11. As for Boca Raton, they have been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 13-8 record this season.
Olympic Heights lost to Boca Raton on the road by a decisive 65-48 margin in their previous meeting back in December of 2023. Can Olympic Heights avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
