Softball Recap: Columbia River Takes a Loss

Columbia River lost against Ridgefield back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Rapids fell 7-2 to the Spudders.

Emily Hull made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-2 with one home run and two RBI. Haley Corona was another key player, scoring a run while going 3-for-3.

Columbia River now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Ridgefield, their win was their 13th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 7-1.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Columbia River is set to take on their familiar foe Hockinson at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Ridgefield will face off against rival Woodland at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
