            Volleyball Recap: Chelsea Bulldogs vs. Tecumseh Indians        
        
		
        
        
            
Chelsea lost against Tecumseh back in October of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result  on Tuesday. The Bulldogs lost  3-0 to the Indians. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest  defeat the Bulldogs have suffered  since October 29, 2024.
 Chelsea was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Tecumseh work for it, especially in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 29-27, 25-23,  25-15.
Chelsea's offense was headlined by  Ally Singer and  Ella Root, who picked up ten kills apiece. They got some help from  Lexi Cummer and her 27 assists.  Melayna Minyard controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.
This is the second loss in a row for Chelsea and  nudges their season record down to 10-4. As for Tecumseh, their victory was  their third straight on the road, which  pushed their record up to 9-1.
 Chelsea and Tecumseh should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage  in the MaxPreps Michigan Rankings. The Bulldogs (ranked 99th) will meet Huron (ranked 446th)  at 7:00  p.m.  on  the 18th. Meanwhile,  Tecumseh will  square off against  Coldwater  at 5:00  p.m.  on Thursday with a big rank  advantage  (15 vs. 117).
