Blue Ridge had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 10.5 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They came out on top against the Fannindel Falcons by a score of 52-42.

Despite the loss, Fannindel still got an impressive performance from Korshonti Aubrey, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 18 rebounds. Those 18 rebounds gave Aubrey a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Tamya Allen, who posted five points in addition to nine rebounds and four steals.

Blue Ridge is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 16-8 record this season. As for Fannindel, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-13 record this season.
