Onalaska has gone 8-2 against Tomah recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Hilltoppers will look to defend their home court against the Timberwolves at 7:00 p.m. Onalaska will be strutting in after a victory while Tomah will be coming in after a defeat.
On Tuesday, Onalaska was able to grind out a solid win over La Crosse Central, taking the game 3-1.
While Onalaska might've won, it sure wasn't easy: La Crosse Central scored at least 18 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 24-26, 26-24, 25-18.

Onalaska got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Isabella Eckstein out in front who had three digs and three aces. What's more, Eckstein racked up 24 assists, the most she's had over her last seven matchups. The team also got some help courtesy of Zayda Lawrence, who had 11 digs and five aces.
They weren't the only good servers: Onalaska was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 14 aces. That's the most aces they've managed all season.
Meanwhile, Tomah was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They fell 2-0 to Richland Center.
Onalaska will have to contain Delaney Spolum as she made an impact in Tomah's last game. She had 40 digs and one assist.
Tomah's defeat dropped their record down to 12-14. As for Onalaska, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-8 record this season.
Here's a few offensive stats to keep an eye on ahead of Thursday's contest: Onalaska has really dialed in their serving this season, having averaged 6 aces per game. However, it's not like Tomah struggles in that department as they've been averaging 5.2 aces. Given these competing strengths, it'll be interesting to see how their clash plays out.
