Soccer Recap: West Monroe Extends Home Winning Streak to Five

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but West Monroe had no problem doing just that on Saturday. Everything went their way against the Fontainebleau Bulldogs as they made off with a 4-1 win. The high-scoring effort was just what the Rebels needed considering they were shutout in their previous game.

West Monroe pushed their record up to 13-7-2 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 22 goals over those five contests. As for Fontainebleau, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-8-5.

As of now, neither West Monroe nor Fontainebleau have any future games scheduled.
