Volleyball Recap: Frederick A. Douglass Comes Up Short

Frederick A. Douglass was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 12th straight defeat. They came up short against the Cabrini Crescents, falling 3-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Bobcats of the 3-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

Frederick A. Douglass' defeat dropped their record down to 5-20. As for Cabrini, their victory ended a seven-match drought on the road and puts them at 5-12.

Frederick A. Douglass has already played their next contest (against Morris Jeff), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Cabrini, after both having extra time off, they and Haynes Academy will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
