Bangor Christian extended their winning streak to seven on Wednesday, bumping their season record up to 15-1 in the process. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Greenville Lakers a 12-0 shutout. The Patriots might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine matchups by six runs or more this season.

As for Greenville, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost 11 of their last 12 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-14 record this season. They just can't catch a break and have now endured four defeats in a row.

For Greenville's part, they saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Landon Theriault, who went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases.
