Pearl River was handed a heart-breaking two-point defeat in their last contest, but they sure didn't let that happen against Varnado on Tuesday. The Pearl River Rebels blew past the Varnado Wildcats 59-17. The Rebels have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight games by 23 points or more this season.

Pearl River's victory bumped their record up to 13-9. As for Varnado, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-8.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Pearl River will host Metairie Park Country Day at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Varnado, they will challenge Riverside Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
