Softball Recap: Alamosa Mean Moose vs. La Junta Tigers

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Lamar, Alamosa was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 12-11 win over the La Junta Tigers. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Mean Moose considering their one-run performance the match before.

Shea Jordan spent all ten innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered six earned (and five unearned) runs on 13 hits and racked up six Ks. Those ten innings set a new season-high mark for her.

At the plate, Alamosa let Araceli Molina and Alivia Miller loose on the outfield. Molina scored three runs and stole two bases while going 3-for-6, while Miller went 2-for-4 with a home run, three RBI, and two runs.
