Basketball Recap: Washington County Takes a Loss

Washington County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were four points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 63-59 heartbreaker at the hands of the Marion County Knights. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Knights this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 58-48 back in January.

Washington County's record is now 8-15. As for Marion County, their win bumped their record up to 16-9.

Washington County has already played their next matchup, a 65-63 victory against Bluegrass United on the 14th. As for Marion County, they are taking a road trip to square off against Bardstown at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
