Basketball Recap: Oconto Falls Takes a Loss

On Thursday, the Oconto Falls Panthers came up short against the Green Bay Preble Hornets and fell 66-57. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Despite the loss, Oconto Falls still got an impressive performance from Jameson Beaman, who went 8 for 17 en route to 24 points. Jj Pytleski was another key player, going 5 of 12 on his way to 15 points and seven boards.

Oconto Falls' defeat dropped their record down to 10-8. As for Green Bay Preble, the win got them back to even at 8-8.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Oconto Falls won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Marinette at 5:45 p.m. on Friday. Oconto Falls is facing Marinette at the right time seeing as Marinette is stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for Green Bay Preble, they and Green Bay Southwest will face off at 7:00 p.m. on Friday without much rest having both just played.
