Airport was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell just short of the Cardinal Newman Cardinals by a score of 4-3. Airport was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Cardinal Newman apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in April of 2021.
Airport saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Addison Keisler, who went 1-for-2 with a double.
Airport's loss ended a six-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 15-5. As for Cardinal Newman, they now have a winning record of 3-2.
