Basketball Recap: Garrett Johnson Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat Bolton

On Wednesday, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, the O'Brien RVT Condors beat the Bolton Bulldogs 59-55. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Condors.

O'Brien RVT's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Garrett Johnson, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and ten boards. The dominant performance also gave Johnson a new career-high in assists (five). Another player making a difference was Landon Weller, who almost dropped a double-double on 18 points and nine assists.

O'Brien RVT smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 20 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive boards in nine consecutive contests.

O'Brien RVT now has a winning record of 5-4.

O'Brien RVT will be playing in front of their home fans against Abbott RVT at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Bolton, they won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Windsor Locks at 6:45 p.m. on Thursday. Both have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses for Windsor Locks and 20 for Bolton dating back to last season.
