Fayetteville Christian lost a heartbreaker when they last took the court, but unfortunately for them the defeat they were handed on on Friday was a bit more commanding. They had to suffer through a rough 68-20 loss at the hands of O'Neal. While losing is never fun, Fayetteville Christian can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 436th, while O'Neal is ranked 34th).
Isabella Bailey put forth a good effort for the losing side as she scored nine points.
Northwood Temple Academy's loss dropped their record down to 1-9. As for Fayetteville Christian, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-9.
Northwood Temple Academy was dealt a bruising 47-20 loss at the hands of Fayetteville Christian in their previous matchup back in December of 2023. Can Northwood Temple Academy avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
