Softball Recap: Harlan Takes a Loss

Harlan was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 11th straight defeat. They took a 7-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Underwood Eagles. If the Cyclones were looking for revenge after losing 19-9 to the Eagles when the teams met back in June of 2023, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Harlan's loss dropped their record down to 1-14. As for Underwood, their victory ended a four-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 3-12.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Harlan will square off against Clarinda at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Underwood, they will challenge AHSTW at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. The Eagles are facing the Vikings at the right time seeing as the Vikings are stuck on a four-game losing streak.
