Baseball Recap: Ten Straight Home Wins for Gibson Southern

Gibson Southern entered their tilt with Evansville North on Saturday with four consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with five. They came out on top against the Huskies by a score of 6-2. This was a revenge game for the Titans: when they faced off against the Huskies back in April, they had to take a 3-2 loss.

Connor Marvel made a big impact no matter where he played. On the mound, he tossed six innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off four hits. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in three consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, going 1-for-2 with two RBI and one run.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Crewe Hasenour, who went 2-for-3 with two runs and one stolen base. Seth Parsons was another key player, going 1-for-3 with two RBI and one double.
