Senior guard Kwe Parker of Wesleyan Christian Academy (High Point, N.C.) announced Sunday via Twitter that he will play college basketball at Rutgers.Parker, a 6-foot-2 combo guard regarded as a Top 150 2016 prospect by 247Sports, rose to national fame with his spectacular dunking ability.

The new Scarlet Knight has made an effort in recent months to distance himself from his dunk contest reputation and demonstrate that he is an all-around player.

Parker also had offers from high major programs like Clemson, Florida State, Kansas State and Wake Forest.
