Basketball Recap: Bethel Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Bethel can now relate to. They fell 55-47 to the Kingston Redskins on Friday. The Wildcats were not able to make up for their loss to the Redskins from their previous meeting back in January of 2024.

Despite the loss, Bethel still got an impressive performance from Alexis Tucker, who shot 45% from the field on her way to 18 points along with seven rebounds and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Ava Gascon, who posted 20 points.

Bethel's defeat dropped their record down to 15-14. As for Kingston, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 17-7.

As of now, neither Bethel nor Kingston have any future games scheduled.
