Central Noble won the last time they faced Lakeland and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Central Noble Cougars enjoyed a cozy 50-31 victory over the Lakeland Lakers. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Cougars.

Despite the loss, Lakeland had strong showings from Cara Schackow, who posted six points and four blocks, and Mckenzie Carlson, who scored six points and six rebounds. Schackow has been hot recently, having posted three or more blocks the last four times she's played. Chloe Yoder also deserves some recognition as she grabbed her first steal of the season.

Central Noble's win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 11-6. As for Lakeland, they have been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last 12 matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-12 record this season.
