Hobbton is 9-1 against Union since April of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Wildcats will head out on the road to challenge the Spartans at 6:00 p.m. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Hobbton is probably headed into the contest with a chip on their shoulder considering Clinton just ended the team's three-game winning streak on Monday. They lost 4-0 to the Dark Horses. While getting shut out isn't ideal, Hobbton haven't been shut out since back in March.

Meanwhile, Union fell victim to North Duplin and their airtight defense on Thursday. They came up short against the Rebels, falling 3-0. The shutout was out of character for Union seeing as the last time the team failed to score was back in March.

Hobbton's defeat dropped their record down to 6-7-1. As for Union, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 5-6.
