Softball Recap: Prospect Comes Up Short

Prospect made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Taft, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Knights fell just short of the Eagles by a score of 5-3 on Saturday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Knights have suffered since May 3, 2024.

Prospect's defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 21-8. As for Taft, with the win, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 19-13.

Looking ahead, Prospect will head out on the road to take on Hersey at 4:45 p.m. on Monday. As for Taft, they will square off against Downers Grove North at 4:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
