Recap: Boulder Panthers vs. DSST: Conservatory Green Hornets
After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Mullen, the Boulder Panthers were happy to have found some success on Thursday. They breezed by DSST: Conservatory Green on the road to the tune of 64-10. With Boulder ahead 39-6 at the half, the game was all but over already.
Boulder's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Megan Matthews, who scored 14 points along with 4 steals. Matthews is absolutely dominating the steal category: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Remi Kingdom, who scored 13 points along with 5 rebounds.
Boulder's victory bumped their record up to 3-1. As for DSST: Conservatory Green, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-5.
Boulder's road trip will continue as they head out to face Fairview at 10:00 a.m. on December 9th. Fairview will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Colorado Rankings (they are ranked 137th, while Boulder is ranked 46th). As for DSST: Conservatory Green, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against The Pinnacle at 6:00 p.m.
