El Reno extends road winning streak to five

Recap: El Reno Indians vs. Shawnee Wolves

The El Reno Indians put another one in the bag on Monday to keep their perfect season alive. They walked away with a 39-30 victory over Shawnee. Despite the victory, that was the fewest points El Reno has scored all year.

El Reno's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Emmary Elizondo, who scored 12 points along with seven rebounds. Another player making a difference was Pauline Black-harmon, who scored 14 points along with seven rebounds.

El Reno pushed their record up to 18-0 with that win, which was their fifth straight on the road. As for Shawnee, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 11-7.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. El Reno will square off against the Knights at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Crossings Christian will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Oklahoma Rankings (they are ranked 294th, while the Indians are ranked tenth). As for Shawnee, they will head out on the road to square off against the Jets at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Western Heights is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'.
