Soccer Game Preview: Granby vs. Salem

The Granby Comets will take on the Salem Sundevils at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Granby fell victim to Western Branch and their airtight defense on Friday. They lost 3-0 to the Bruins. That's two games in a row now that Granby have lost by exactly three goals.

Meanwhile, after soaring to four goals the game before, Salem was a bit more limited in their contest last Friday. They came up short against Bayside, falling 4-1. The loss put an end to Salem's undefeated start to the season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Salem fell to 2-1. As for Granby, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Everything went Granby's way against Salem in their previous meeting back in March of 2023, as Granby made off with a 4-1 win. Will the Comets repeat their success, or do the Sundevils have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
